Reply Keng Leong August 19, 2015 @ 2:18 am I have the same problem with the flashing desktop screen. I can't find a work around. When the scan finished it gave a 1 minute warning and said "Shutting down". Self-test 1152K passed! check over here

Keep the password blank and untick "user must change password at next logon". If the screen to select task manager does not display then it is most likely a driver issue.

Also the issue is random it doesn't occur each time I run a full system scan. i do not have the computer expertise of these other guys, nor do i have another wireless card, and just like Jim, this is cutting into my work. The quick scan causing the problem initiates after LiveUpdate has run. I tried Ctrl+Alt+Del to no avail.
